Directions & Parking

The Sonnentag is located at 1075 Menomonie St., Eau Claire, WI 54703.

It is located just west of Hobbs Ice Arena. Surface parking accommodates 400 parking spaces onsite including electric vehicle charging stations and accessible parking. The convenient location also is accessible from the Chippewa River State Trail that connects to campus and a bus route to ensure access for all students.

Directions

Heading South on 53

  1. Take Exit 87 onto Clairemont Ave. 
  2. Turn right onto Clairemont Ave. 
  3. Follow Clairemont to Menomonie St. 
  4. Turn right onto Menomonie St. 
  5. The Sonnentag will be on the right.

Heading East on 94

  1. Exit 59 onto WI-312
  2. Slight Right onto the US-12 E / Clairemont Ave Ramp
  3. Turn right onto US-12 E/N Clairemont Ave
  4. Turn left onto Menomonie St. 
  5. The Sonnentag will be on the right.

Heading West on 94

  1. Exit 70 onto N-53
  2. Take Exit 87 onto Clairemont Ave. 
  3. Turn left onto Clairemont Ave. 
  4. Follow Clairemont to Menomonie St. 
  5. Turn right onto Menomonie St. 
  6. The Sonnentag will be on the right.

 

Parking

EV Charging

The Sonnentag provides 8 EV Charging stations for vehicles that require this feature. Parking in this spot without charging will result in being ticketed or towed.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking and drop-off are available at the North entrance.

Please remember that all vehicles must display state-issued accessible parking tags or placards to park in these spaces. 

Overnight Parking

The Sonnentag does not permit overnight parking without prior authorization. We are subject to tow and tickets unauthorized vehicles. To request overnight parking, please contact sonnentag@uwec.edu with date(s), time, and reason.
