Whether you're aiming to improve your strength, increase your endurance, or enhance your overall wellbeing, our trainers provide the support, motivation, and professional expertise to help you succeed. And with a variety of training packages available, you can customize a personal training experience to fit your budget. 

Interested in participating in our Personal Training Program? Please fill out the forms below and return to the Fitness Center or email to Sharlae Vanis at vaniss@uwec.edu for review.

*NOTE: If a physician’s clearance is necessary based on your responses to the health history questionnaire, no personal training sessions will take place until the physician’s clearance form has been received.

 

Required Forms for Personal Training

We require the Personal Training Request Form and the Personal Training Health History Form to be filled out prior to signing up for personal training. 

Once you fill out these forms, please drop them off at the Center for Health and Wellbeing Front Desk or email them to vaniss@uwec.edu

Nikolas Rasmussen

My name is Nik, and I've been a personal trainer for almost 8 years! I specialize in strength training and interval cardio, have taught a variety of different Group Ex classes, and have coordinated athletic camps for years. I love helping people reach their fitness goals and creating relationships with my clients. Every session is engaging and challenging, and I find that very rewarding. When I'm not at work, I love spending time outside! I'm typically biking, fishing, canoeing, lifting in my home gym, or participating in other adventures. 

Kristi Herbenson

Hi, I’m Kristi Herbenson a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Nutrition Coach. Throughout my many years of personal training, I have educated clients of all ages on how to live a healthy lifestyle.  I love helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of.  It is my goal to help you achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle!
